Calista is a Kentucky-born queer actress who is recognized for her unshakable boldness and her down-to-earth nature both in the characters she plays and as an artist. Calista is a vocal chameleon--Her firm foundation as a classically-trained light lyric soprano paved the way for her powerful pop belt and her extensive mix range that allows her to take agency in any musical style. She is a strong dancer with a focus in jazz and tap, a stand-up comedian, and a passionate Shakespeare interpreter with experience in diverse roles across the repertoire. Calista is deeply immersed in the folk and country music culture that is currently seeing its renaissance, and has been the host and producer of her own bluegrass/folk/country talk-show radio program 'Fiddlin' Around' for the past 3 years.
